Nougat Delight
Alright, this sweet I set myself up for a challenge to make something other than Thai food. After going through a lot of searching on the Internet I have finally come down with something. So this week you will see me attempt to make one of well known desserts ‘Nougat’. I have read some recipes, watched tutorial videos on Youtube. Then it is time for me to get dirty and make it happen. I followed the recipe from Food Wish by Chef John and clearly I can’t follow the instructions. However, what went through in two days of me trying to fix the mistake. Well, what do you know. Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
200g honey
2 egg whites
½ cup roasted peanut
⅓ cup sunflower kernel
⅓ cup pepitas
½ roasted cashew nut
1 tsp lime zest
Pinch of salt
