All-Day Banana Rolled

I love eating fruits, of all kinds. But when I relocated to the western country then I have to adjust my diet a little bit. Although my main diet is Asian once in a while I'd like to mix things up. Today we are going to use a fantastic wholegrain bread paired with beautiful bananas that are packed with nutrition. Let's roll!

Banana Rolled

  • Banana 2

  • Wholegrain bread 2 slices

  • Honey 1 tbsp

  • Sunflower kernels 1 tbsp

  • Toasted coconut chips 1 tbsp

  • Toasted sesame seed 2 tbsp

  • Egg 2

  • Coconut oil 1 tbsp

How to make

  • Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and beat until they are well mixed.

  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add the coconut oil.

  • Pour the beaten eggs into the pan and cook like an omelet, flipping once until the egg is set.

  • Take the cooked omelet off the heat and place it on a plate.

  • Cut the wholegrain bread into squares that match the size of the omelet.

  • Place a square of bread on top of the omelet and top it with a sliced banana.

  • Roll the bread, omelet and banana together and press gently to secure the shape.

  • Repeat the process with the remaining bread, omelet, and banana slices.

  • Cut each roll into 4 bite-sized pieces.

  • Drizzle honey over the rolls, then sprinkles toasted sesame seeds, coconut chips and sunflower kernels on top.

  • Enjoy your delicious and nutritious Banana Rolled!

Tip: brush the roll with egg yolk before searing on the pan to keep the roll from falling apart.
